Eclectic (Blend of useful approaches)

Clients call a therapist because they want to experience relief quickly.  Most clients need a flexible, tailor-made approach that works with the client’s strengths and goals and effectively gets to the heart of the issue at hand.  To do that, the eclectic approach blends a variety of helpful interventions that might include cognitive behavioral (CBT), social skills training, existential therapy (finding meaning and purpose in life), solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT-emotion regulation) and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT–exploring values and committing to change).  Evergreen therapists will work collaboratively with the client to find the best practices that work!
